Much different from flat rectangular bumper stickers, die-cut stickers are available in literally any design you can imagine. They can be used in many different applications. On the back of car windows and bumpers, whole car decals, in your home as a modern wall decoration, store front window displays, or a cost effective way to frost windows. Die-cut stickers can be found everywhere. So, what exactly is a die-cut sticker?

DEFINITION
A die-cut sticker is a sticker made from vinyl, usually with cut out spaces made by cutting around a die, or mold.

THE PROCESS
The die, or mold, is created to follow the outline of a custom-created design or piece of art. Once the pattern is applied to the vinyl a machine cutter cuts out the exact pattern.

THE COMPONENTS
A die-cut sticker comes in a sheet with three layers. The top layer is a protective shield, the middle layer is the vinyl sticker itself, and the last layer is a back liner behind the sticker or decal.

HOW TO APPLY
First remove the back layer, then place the decal against the surface for which it is intended and firmly smooth a card over the decal. Then, you can remove the protective shield to reveal the adhered sticker.

BACK or FRONT
Die cut stickers are available with the adhesive on the back of the decal, for application on the exterior surface like car windows bumpers or snowboards. Also the die-cuts can have the adhesive on the front for application on the inside of a window, or glass door and be visible from the outside.

ADVANTAGES
Die cut stickers can be created in many custom patterns. They are very weather resistant, and the vinyl is waterproof, so the decals will last much longer than regular stickers.

DIGITAL PRINTED STICKER
A digital printed sticker is a vinyl sticker where the image is digitally printed on the vinyl. This process is better for complex images such as photos or more detailed designs.
For both methods there are many different colours, styles and qualities of vinyl. Its up to you to make the choice depending on the durability needed and/or your price range.

Using wide format industrial inkjet printers for indoor and outdoor sign & displays, these uv-curable engines stand for quality printing on uncoated rigid as well as on roll media.

You can produce top quality inkjet prints for both outdoor and indoor applications.

Roll materials such as: film, a paper, front- and backlit film, self adhesive vinyl and paper, canvas, banner, vinyl, blue back, coated and uncoated media. Rigid media such as: alu boards, corrugated cardboards, screen printing boards, exhibition panels, stage graphics, ad panels and much more.

Designed to cope with heavy workloads in applications such as posters, billboards, fleet displays, POS & POP displays, exhibition panels, stage graphics, construction announcements, ad panels etc

Printing of fabrics with UV curable inkjet

The applications where fabrics can be used are only limited by the imagination: indoor decoration, banners & flags, exhibition stands, etc.

More and more printers are incorporating digital fabrics printing into their product portfolio. Until recently digitally printed fabrics could only be produced via indirect (using transfer paper) or direct printing on fabrics using special textile inks (dye sublimation inks, acid dye inks, reactive dye inks, etc.). Due to technological breakthroughs in ink development, print heads, etc., UV curable inkjet printing has developed enormously in the past few years.

The main advantages of UV curable inkjet printing onto fabrics are:

1) can print on any material 1.75 inches thick.
1) use of only one class of ink for all types of fabrics
2) no need for thermal fixation/sublimation after printing.
Needless to say that these advantages have convinced numerous printers to choose UV curable based
